We had a good time in Manuas, the city really puts on good christmas. The free concerts in the Opera House and the Justice Palace were great. The boat cruise (Clipper) was good, but didn’t go as far up river as the one advertised in Australia, by Tempo, this reduced its value somewhat. Apart from this the cook is a legend, her food from the small galley was very good. The excursions were well led and interesting, the sunset over the Lake was absolutely fabulous. Life onboard the boat was stimulating due to the cross section of nationalities, and the vitality of the type of person attracted to a traditional boat cruise.
