Amazonat

Hi Luciana,

I am very happy to say that the services I received from Luciana were terrific. I was planning a trip for 2 seniors, 2 children, my husband and myself. I had many questions and all were answered quickly (and in english!!). I first had contacted an american travel agency that specializes in Brazil travel and after contacting them 3 times without response I gave up. Not only did Luciana answer quickly, she was a wealth of information and very understanding to our personal needs. She is terrific and I would never have been able to plan our trip without her help. Thank You Luciana.

The Amazonat was a lot of fun and their help was amazing. They were very accomadating to our needs with our children and very helpful in getting supplies for our 1 year old. My mother, who was nervous upon arrival at the lodge (because it is primitive) celebrated her birthday there and said it was perfect. We went to a 5 star hotel in Natal after the Amazon and my mom preferred the Amazon!!! It was very clean, the food excellent and the guides were great. My 4 year old son loves sloths and when we were out on the Amazon River, a guide named moseis climbed up a tall tree and brought down a sloth so Tommy could hold and pet it. That is a memory my son will never forget. I did miss hot water showers. I had checked about peacock bass fishing and was told they didn’t offer anything like that. As it turns out they offer a day trip for bass fishing, however June is a better time for fishing luck.

I am writing this for our group, Lee & Karen Bond and Steve & Elise Hubbard. We had a great time with no dissappointments!!!! Thank You very much. If I can provide any other information please let me know.
Thank You,
Elise Hubbard
The reception at the airport was very comfortable and friendly and the transfer to the lodge was fine. The transfer from meeting of the waters to the Tropical Hotel was much longer than I expected and we were all pretty tired at that point, but we did enjoy seeing the meeting of the waters.

Juma Lodge

Hi Luciana,
We are now back in Manaus in Hotel Brasil. I left my hat, from Peru, in the last van that dropped us off at
the hotel. Let me know if you recover it. The Juma Lodge lodge was very nice out in the jungle. But I think I visited at the wrong time since.
1. No one of the 8 guests caught any fish. There were 8 guests but they only brought 7 fishing poles. I was given a line on an empty water bottle.
2. The night hunt for allegators was disapponting, only 2 guests went on that trip, and we saw none except one guide found a baby to bring on the canoe.
3. We did not see many birds on that trip. We saw more at the hotel at breakfast-parrots, tucan, monkeys and a dog.
4. The jungle hike was wonderful. I really enjoyed learning about the the different medicines that came
from the trees. The was nothing to do at night. A ping pong table would be a nice addition to the place or some talk on nature at night or some natives coming there to talk or sell items.
The guide ate by himself at separate table instead of with us.
Your services are very good. I would recommend your company to anyone coming to Brasil.
