Ariaú Towers/ Opera Festival

I am soooo sorry Luciana, I should have answered immediately upon our return to thank you for all the wonderful things you have done for us. But I have to catch up with everything since yesterday… Our visit was excellent in every way…

At the end we kept the hotelroom as it was easier to leave all our bits and pieces there.
The opera was fabulous, better than most of European performances, the Opera house is beautiful…We are very very lucky with the opportunity to see it, and what’s more seeing and listening to our favourite operas…
Gilton the guide for the town was great, he put up with all our whims, like food etc… we really appreciated him..
The Ariaú experience was also excellent, we did everything in 24 hours whatever there was to do: natives, piranhas, caimans, jungle trek, dolphins, sunrise.. Our guide there was Mike: he is very very good, if you ever need him, he is freelancing. His English is perfect as he comes from Guyana, and very very knowledgeable.and a very nice guy too.
We flew back from there by helicopter to see the Meeting of the Waters.
Incredible!

So thank you very much for all the help— (but I do not see where You or Viverde gets its profit as we had to pay everything to the hotels etc.) Let me know if we owe you anything and also, where on which address we could send you something.

In any case I will try to write to the Manaus web site as they have nothing interesting to offer to prospective tourists, so watch the site.

all the very best , best regards

Kati

Mamirauá / Uakari Lodge

Hi Luciana,
Janet and I loved Mamirauá and Uakari Lodge. The staff were great, the food was excellent, and we left feeling a lot more knowledgeable about the reserve. We also saw lots of animals from caimans to sloths to toucans. The accommodation itself was fine. Clean, well maintained,
with good hot showers. The only complaint we had is that there was a shortage of guides who spoke English, so we sometimes missed out on vital information on walks and boat rides. I have no complaints about Viverde, either, except the one i already noted about advance payment by credit card (sending all my details by fax or email). But thank you for arranging it. I will recommend it, and your agency, to my friends and family.
all best,
Dale

Aldeia dos Lagos/ Hotel Brasil

dear luciana,
I’m apologise but I can answer you only now!!!
I’d like to confirm that “all was ok”
brasil hotel is a basic but clean and near the main site of the city.
Aldeia dos Lagos is in a splendid location, the service is very good, people are nice and “professional”. Rooms are large, clean and well equipped.

About the viverde service :-) I’ cannot say that I found “a big help” to organize my holidays and to overcame problems.

Sorry if i cannot say much more in english because I don’t kwon the right terms, but I thank you again for all
ciao
Claudia

Amazon Clipper Premium / Tropical Ecoresort

Dear Luciana,
Sorry if I did not answer you before but I came back from the trip at the end of September and I found a lot of work in the office.
Now to us: the trip was fantastic and I enjoyed every minute of it, especially the Brazilian side.
Thank to you we had a very pleasant stay in Manaus: the Tropical is fantastic for the price, the buffet breakfast was very good and the room really big. I preferred our hotel to the Tropical Ecoresort: even the swimming pool is much better!
We enjoyed the cruise on the Clipper Premium: it was very nicely organized and our first guide Sardi was very knowledgable and pleasant but also the second one was very good. We also found the food very pleasant and varied.
I already gave your name and company to some friends and certainly will continue to do so.
I hope that sometime in the future you will have a boat going to Santarem and we will certainly join!
Thank you again to have taking care of us so well.
Bast regards,
Gabriella

Jungle Palace

Dear Luciana

Yesterday morning we finally went home after a long journey which included Rio, Bahia, Manaus, Buenos Aires, Mendoza and London. Our stay at the Jungle Palace was wonderful. The staff was very kind and made our stay very pleasant.
Although the Jungle Palace is simple, it fulfills the basic necessities in a tour like this, a clean bed, a good shower and air condition. The food was tasty and varied. The pool was clean and inviting so we used it every day after the tours.
Our guide Michel, went to fetch us from the airport and from this very moment he took care of everything.
We were surprised by Michel’s excellent service and guidance.
To be fair I was a little worried about our reservation as you didn’t ask for a credit card number to secure it but my worries disappeared when I saw Michel carrying a sign with our names.
Thank you very much for your assistance.
Paula and Israel
